The applications for the Haddam Scholarship Fund, Inc are now available in the guidance offices of HKHS, Xavier High School, Mercy High School, and Vinal Technical High School. HSF, Inc will be awarding $7,000 in funds.
High School seniors who reside in Haddam, Higganum, or Haddam Neck and are continuing their education after graduation are eligible to apply for these awards.
The John Bertolini Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is open to Haddam, Higganum, Haddam Neck, and Killingworth residents. This scholarship is based on financial need and accomplishments of the applicant particularly in the area of community service beyond requirements for graduation.
The Dr. Kate Mead Award in the amount of $1,000 is offered to a student who is pursuing a career in a health-related field.
