(June 25, 2026) — On July 11, 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 p.m., join the Haddam Committee to Celebrate America 250 at the Higganum Green for a fun-filled community Town Picnic celebrating history, family and togetherness! Enjoy complimentary hamburgers and hot dogs available on a first-come, first-served basis, along with free historically-themed desserts, entertainment and activities for all ages.
Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of classic historical games, including horseshoes, three-legged races, cornhole, tug-of-rope, and so many more! Children also can enjoy a dedicated kids’ table. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic items, drinks, and a blanket to relax and enjoy this festive community gathering!
