(June 10, 2026) — Please join us on the 250th Anniversary of the original reading of the Declaration of Independence, which will be recited simultaneously throughout our United States territories on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Higganum Town Green with patriotic music, followed by a reading at 6:00 p.m. by Haddam military veterans. Dress to impress with Patriotic and/or Colonial attire.
