(June 6, 2026) — The Middlesex County Extension Council, Inc. will hold its annual meeting on June 11, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the UConn Extension Center 1066 Saybrook Road in Haddam. After a brief business meeting, as part of the CT250 activities, Tom Worthley, Forestry Extension Educator at the UConn Cooperative Extension Service and professor at the UConn Department of Natural Resources and the Environment will give a presentation on “The White Oak: The Connecticut State Tree and its role in the Connecticut Charter, the Charter Oak and the United States Constitution.”
