Boys Basketball 2026: HKHS Defeat Valley 62-59

On February 17, 2026 the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team defeated Shoreline Conference rival Valley Regional by a final score of 62-59. The Cougars were led by Senior co-captain Declan Moriarty with 22 points, followed by junior Brody Ferguson with 13. Stellar rebounder Junior Kody Lehet pitched in 9 and junior Mason Eighmy had 7. Senior powerhouse Spencer Savoy contributed 6 points followed by junior Noah Marica with 4 and senior Pearce Goodison with 1 point. The team saw strong defensive play from Ethan Pitts and consistent rebounding from Marica, Lehet, and Savoy. The Cougars improve to 15 – 4 on the season as the Conference playoff season is upon us.
