(February 16, 2026) — Tim Shore of Jackson Road in Higganum stands beside his latest winter creation: a mammoth front yard luge built for his children and their friends to enjoy tubing and sledding.
Some of the towering snow walls rise more than seven feet, dwarfing the former HKHS math teacher (photo above). Needless to say, Tim and his family have spent plenty of time outdoors this winter. There’s just one rule that the builder and his wife insist on: every rider wears a helmet.
