(October 27, 2025) — Art lovers take note! The newly renovated Brainerd Memorial Library includes an Art Wall—a place to display the work of local (and maybe some not-so-local) artists. They’ll be putting their best work on display, with a different artist featured every few months. The first participating artist is Higganum’s own Dodi D’Oench. Her work is mostly en plein air (painted outdoors) and townsfolk will recognize many locations. Drop in to admire and enjoy Dodi’s paintings. All are for sale, for yourself or for a special start to holiday shopping.
