(October 26, 2025) — The United Congregational Church of Haddam and Higganum is excited to announce its 14th Annual Yuletide Quilt Show and Holiday Bazaar, taking place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church’s Haddam campus, located at 905 Saybrook Road in Haddam.
There will be more than a hundred handcrafted quilts on display, captivating quilting enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. In addition to the quilt exhibit, the Holiday Bazaar will feature an array of holiday items for sale, as well as quilting and sewing vendors, a “crafty” tag sale, and raffles with a chance to win a handmade quilt or one of more than thirty raffle baskets. The church’s café will be open throughout the day, serving a variety of homemade soups, pies, artisan breads, and hot beverages.
If you are a quilter or own a quilt you’d like to display, we’d love to showcase it! To register your quilt for the event, please contact the church at 860-345-2742 for an Exhibitor’s Registration Form or download it from the church’s website at www.haddamchurch.org/events/quilt-show. There is no cost to participate as an exhibitor. All exhibitors will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card!
Admission to the quilt exhibit is $10, with free entry for children under 12. Access to the activities in the fellowship hall—raffles, lunch, holiday wares, and vendors—does not require an admission fee.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the church and its many community outreach programs, including support for the Haddam Food and Fuel Banks, Youth and Family Services, and the HK Backpack Program.
