Election 2025: Haddam Board of Finance (Alternate) Candidate Alex Marconi

Alex Marconi is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over a decade of experience in audit, accounting, financial reporting, and financial systems. Currently, Alex serves as the Associate Director of Financial Controls and Compliance at a major multinational pharmaceutical company, where he leads a team dedicated to managing enterprise risk, global financial controls and financial compliance, and finance master data and systems.

Before his current role, Alex served as Senior Manager – Financial Reporting, overseeing SEC reporting and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) Hartford in the audit practice, serving a variety of clients in different industries.

Alex holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Connecticut. Alex resides in Higganum with his wife, Jennie, and their Goldendoodle, Abby. Additionally, Alex is an active member of the Pontelandolfo Community Club in Waterbury.

A strong advocate for fiscal responsibility, Alex supports lower taxes, responsible government spending, and policies that help small businesses thrive. He is committed to building bridges across the community and fostering collaboration that benefits the town of Haddam.”
