(September 20, 2025) — The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) will hold a free paper shredding event on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Chester Fair Grounds, 11 Kirtland Terrace in Chester.
This event is free to residents of the RiverCOG region, which includes Haddam and Killingworth. Please note that this event is intended for shredding confidential papers, not for items that can be regularly recycled, such as birthday cards, magazines and envelopes.
