Find a Fur Baby: Dexter Here!

Submitted by Judith Levin

(February 28, 2025) — Say hello to Dexter for this week. This handsome guy is a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier. He is ten years old and is a large hunk of love. He weighs around seventy-five pounds and is a brindle color – quite stunning.

Dexter is an older dog who sadly came to Brass City Shelter after his owner passed away. It makes you want to cry. He is extremely affectionate and lovable. He has many great traits like being chill, independent, confident, and food-motivated. He loves people, kids, and docile female dogs.

Brass City has been working to re-socialize him and he is coming along quite nicely. Some things he loves to do are go on long car rides, play fetch, give lots of hugs and kisses and read your palm for one-dollar, ten-minute session. Let’s get this guy a new home. A senior should not have to live in a shelter at his age.

To obtain more information on Dexter, please copy and paste www.brasscityrescuealliance.org into your browser to inquire. All adoption fees are currently waived!
