(July 31, 2024) — The Killingworth Conservation Commission and the Killingworth Library are sponsoring a Wildlife Conservation contest for children ages 6 through 13.
The contest has two parts: a coloring-art section and a writing section. The subjects for this year are Bears and Deer. These wild animals live in and around Killingworth and you may have seen them. Youngsters will have fun while completing their contest entries and the opportunity to learn more about wildlife and conservation.
There are two participant age groups: 6 to 9 years-old and 10 to 13 years old.
Fun prizes will be awarded to the three best entries in each age group!
Entry materials can be picked up at Killingworth Library starting August 5, 2024
The folder with completed entries must be returned to the Library no later than Saturday, August 31, 2024.
