Haddam Town Clerk’s Official Notice of March 5th Referendum

(February 16, 2024) — The Electors of the Town of Haddam are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling places in said town on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for the following purposes:

 “Shall the Town sell approximately 3 acres, being portions of property at 270 & 300 Saybrook Road, for $250,000 to Higganum Village, LLC on the condition that Higganum Village, LLC invest  $3,000,000 to improve such property for future use?”

Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling places are as follows:

1. Haddam Firehouse Community Hall

439 Saybrook Road, Higganum, CT, 06441

 2.    Regional School District #17

 57 Little City Road, Higganum, CT, 06441            

3. Haddam Neck Firehouse

50 Rock Landing Road, Haddam Neck, CT, 06424

**Absentee Ballots will be counted at the following central location:

Haddam Firehouse Community Hall, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum, CT, 06441

Voting tabulators will be used. The polls will be opened at six o’clock in the morning (6:00 a.m.) and will remain open until eight o’clock in the evening (8:00 p.m.)
