NOTICE OF EARLY VOTING
Starting this year, 2024, the State of Connecticut now has “Early Voting.” Connecticut residents will now be able to vote earlier than on Election Day starting with our first election for 2024 which is the “Presidential Preference Primary.”
All “Early Voting” will be held at:
Haddam Firehouse
439 Saybrook Road (Route 154)
Higganum, CT 06441
EARLY VOTING SESSIONS:
April 2, 2024 – “Presidential Preference Primary”
Early Voting Dates & Times: March 26 – 30 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Except March 29 – No Early Voting
Primary Election Day: Tuesday, April 2 – 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
May 7 – Haddam RSD#17 School Budget Referendum – 6:00 a.m. – 8:00p.m.
NOTE: Early Voting not available for Referendums
August 13, 2024 – State and District Office Primary
Early Voting Dates & Times: August 5 – 11 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Except August 6 & 8 – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Election Day: Tuesday, August 13 – 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
November 5, 2024 – Presidential Election
Early Voting Dates & Times: October 21 – November 3
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Except October 29 and October 31 – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 5 – 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
