(March 11, 2026) — Oddfellows Playhouse Junior Repertory Company will stage E.B. White’s classic story Charlotte’s Web at Oddfellows Playhouse, 128 Washington Street in Middletown. Performances will be at 7:00 p.m. on March 12, 13 and 14, 2026, with a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Charlotte’s Web follows Wilbur, a runty spring pig facing an uncertain future, and Charlotte, the spider who befriends him and works to save his life, proving that even the smallest voice can make a difference. At its heart, Charlotte’s Web is a story about friendship. Wilbur and Charlotte don’t look alike, don’t live alike, and certainly don’t think alike, and yet they choose each other. Through them, we see that kindness isn’t just a feeling. It’s something you do. It lives in the words we choose and in the strength it takes to stand beside a friend. As the animals in Zuckerman’s Barn begin to see one another differently, we begin to understand that compassion builds community, that loving deeply carries the risk of loss, and that life is measured, not by its length, but by how we show up for one another.
