(February 16, 2026) — The Haddam Garden Club is offering a $1000 scholarship to a student who is a Haddam/Higganum resident, graduating from HKHS, Vinal Tech, Mercy or Xavier High Schools in 2026. They must be pursuing an education in Agriculture, Botany, Conservation, Environmental Studies, Forestry, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, Plant Pathology or related fields.
Any student attending local high schools, or who is home schooled, is encouraged to apply. Applications are due by May 1, 2026 for consideration. A transcript of the student’s record is also required. Presentation of the award will be at the Senior Awards Night at the student’s school.
Applications will be available at the schools from the Guidance Department or on the HGC website: HaddamGardenClub.org/scholarship
