There are many people in Haddam and Killingworth who volunteer their time to make these communities a better place. I was very moved by the article in the December 18, 2025 issue of Haddam Killingworth News that talked about Matthew and Tyler Medina, who are sophomores at Haddam-Killingworth High School.
I would like to commend them for purchasing and preparing fifteen Thanksgiving meals for elderly residents in Killingworth. What an outstanding thing for these two boys to do, along with help from their mother! This positive story highlights that small gestures can mean a lot to those who need a bit of help.
