I was elected to Regional School District No. 17 in a special election in September 2024 and currently serve as Chair of the Finance Committee. My contributions include the development of policies and procedures to assist in financial decision making, improved financial reporting and development of internal accounting policies.
My public service also includes serving on the Board of Finance for the Town of Haddam. Professionally, I am a partner at a public accounting firm with nearly 40 years of experience, specializing in providing services to towns and school districts. Having provided services to more than 120 municipalities and school districts, I have been able to bring practical solutions and strategic insight to address evolving challenges, including new statutes and mandates.
I also served as an adjunct professor in UCONN’s graduate program, where I gained valuable teaching experience.
I have enjoyed serving the Board of Education and sharing my experience and expertise as part of the team that works to make our schools an incredible place for our students. With challenges ahead, I would like to continue to provide my experience and to be part of the team address them. I would appreciate your support in November.
