(October 9, 2025) — The electors and citizens qualified to vote at Town Meetings are hereby warned and notified that a Special Town Meeting will be held at the Haddam Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room, 272 Saybrook Road in Higganum on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. for the following purposes:
- To Choose a Moderator to preside over such meeting and to consider and act upon the following:
- To consider and vote on the acquisition of two abandoned cemeteries, Old Ponsett Cemetery and Turkey Hill Cemetery, upon the satisfactory completion of the statutory requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 19a-308a.
- To consider and vote on an Ordinance Concerning Citations and Procedures for Violations of Town Regulations.
