Sarah Pytlik

Sarah Pytlik is a lifelong community member. She grew up in Killingworth and graduated from Haddam-Killingworth High School in 1998. She attended Southern Connecticut State University, but ultimately followed her dream of owning her own business, which is located in Higganum. Sarah, along with her husband Matt, has raised their four children here in Haddam. She has two sons and two daughters. They are 22, 20, 17 and 8. In addition to owning and operating her own business, she is responsible for all the administrative duties for her husband’s construction business. Sarah also serves on the Haddam Economic Development Commission and is committed to supporting the growth and success of all of Haddam’s small businesses. She is also a Justice of the Peace and a Notary Public.

After a thorough and thoughtful interview process conducted by the Haddam Republican Town Committee’s Nomination Committee, Sarah was chosen as the HRTC’s endorsed nominee for the position of Town Clerk. In addition, she also has been chosen as the Haddam Democratic Town Committee’s nominee, which makes her a a proudly bipartisan candidate.

Robert Siegrist

Bob Siegrist is a Haddam-Killingworth High School graduate and Quinnipiac University alumnus (BS, Political Science, 2006), has sat on the Haddam Republican Town Committee since 2012 and has served on the Executive Board. From 2017 to 2019, he served District 36 as a State Representative, and as a member of the Insurance and Real Estate, Public Safety and Security, and Veterans Affairs committees, as well as the Young Legislators Caucus.

After rigorous training, experience, and a comprehensive exam, Bob became a Connecticut Certified Town Clerk and is an active member of the Middlesex County (Vice-President), Connecticut, and New England Town Clerk Associations, as well as a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. Bob has also completed coursework administered by the Secretary of the State.
A Justice of the Peace since 2013, he has officiated ceremonies of many residents. Bob was elected as Haddam’s Town Clerk in November 2021 and enjoys serving the people of Haddam every day.

  1. I’m voting for Bobby Siegrist, the person with the experience. I’ve seen so much nasty from the OTHER camp with their insults and mean comments. That in its self I will not vote for them. The current clerk is already certified and does a great job. Personable and nothing but kind and helpful in the office. Saw a long line at the window on tax time and he was all alone working thru it. Went zippity fast and efficiently. Wasn’t a long wait despite long line.
