(August 13, 2025) — On Tuesday, September 9, 2025 Haddam will hold a Republican Primary election for the office of Town Clerk. To be able to vote in this election, you must be a registered Republican living in Haddam. Voters who are new to town and wish to register as a Republican, or if you are an unaffiliated voter and wish to enroll in the Republican Party, you may do that online, or by mail-in registration by Friday, August 22, 2025.
There are special sessions available to register in person with the Town Clerk or with the Registrar of Voters. The Town Clerk’s office is open Monday through Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
The Registrar of Voters will have in-person sessions on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m., and on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only for persons who have qualified by moving into town, turning age 18 or acquiring citizenship since August 22, 2025.
Early voting for this election starts September 2, 2025 and runs through Sunday, September 7, 2025.
The Registrar of Voters office is located at the Haddam Firehouse 439 Saybrook Road in Higganum.
