(July 10, 2025) — Goodspeed Musicals will hold auditions for local children on Saturday, July 26, 2025 for its 2025 Goodspeed production of Mrs. Santa Claus. Goodspeed is seeking Non-Equity child actors to play and understudy the roles of Nora (ages 8-12) and Ensemble (ages 8-13). All candidates should be able to dance and sing; all the boys should have unchanged voices.
All auditions are by appointment only. Appointments may be made starting immediately. Please call (860) 873-0021, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to schedule an appointment.
All candidates should prepare a 32-bar cut of an up-tempo song with appropriate sheet music. Music must be legible and in the proper key (no lead sheets please). An accompanist will be provided. Bring a resume and recent photo.
Candidates must be available for four weeks of rehearsal and nine weeks of performances between October 14, 2025 (first rehearsal) and December 28, 2025 (close) in East Haddam.
