Time to “Tag Your Pup” in Killingworth

Submitted by Dawn Mooney, Killingworth Town Clerk

(June 5, 2025) — Have you ever noticed how creative graffiti can be? From elaborate drawings to funky colorful signatures, known as “tagging,” graffiti is an art form all its own!

Well, we think it’s unfair that humans can express creativity with their “tags” but man’s best friends do not, and we plan to do something about that! The Killingworth Town Clerk’s Office wants you to license your dog during the month of June and enter Killingworth’s “Tag Your Pup” contest. Three winning pups will be randomly selected to be Killingworth’s TOP DOGS!

Simply stop in at the Town Clerk’s office with cash or check and take a minute to create a colorful “TAG” that expresses your dog’s true style and personality. Please don’t worry if you can’t come in person; just mail your check for renewal to the Town Clerk’s office or renew on-line with a credit card at www.townofkillingworth.com and your dog’s license will be mailed to your home.

The cost of a dog license in June remains the same at $8.00 for a spayed/neutered pup, or $19.00 if intact. Checks should be made payable to “Town of Killingworth.”

Please Note: As always, proof of a valid rabies vaccination is required.
