Poetry Month and Earth Day at Brainerd Library in April

(April 1, 2025) — April marks both Poetry Month and Earth Day. Brainerd Memorial Library in Haddam has baskets of “pocket poems” printed on colorful paper and tied with ribbons for everyone to take home and enjoy.  

Betty and the Friends hope you will choose some as you walk in.  

There is also a poetry and Earth Day display of wonderful books to peruse and borrow.

Plus, a Haiku board to encourage your creativity! Post your Haiku to share with our community.
