(March 14, 2025) — What a beautiful girl. Thanks to Army’s Legacy Rescue and Sanctuary, they saved her from a euthanasia list at a Connecticut shelter. Bravo to you!
This poor thing was left abandoned. She is a Rottweiler/Shepherd Mix, approximately two years in age. Roxy is just the best dog. I do not understand how someone can do this to an animal. It just breaks my heart.
Roxy has no food or toy aggressions of any sort and has a good relationship with other dogs. Cats are on the unknown list. She is highly intelligent. So far, she knows how to sit, stay, give you her paw, lie down and roll over, pour wine for your guests, and eat all the food that drops on the rug. No vacuuming necessary after they leave.
She loves to go for walks, hike, play ball (number one catcher), and loves to show you all the affection she can give. She is a perfect dog. She does jump, but is working on correcting that and doing well. At first, she will bark at someone she doesn’t know, but many dogs do that. I do that myself.
