(October 13, 2024) — Connecticut State Police say the body of 81 year old Normand Manning of Haddam, who had been missing since October 6, 2024, was found in Cockaponset State Forest on Saturday October 12, 2024, near the Haddam-Chester town line.
A Silver Alert was issued on October 6th and a search by a large group of volunteers was organized on October 12th, covering a wide area around Cockaponset. State Police are preparing to release further information.
