Energy Assistance Program Accepting Applications

(October 12, 2024) — The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program is now taking applications from Connecticut residents seeking aid to help heat their homes this winter. Applications usually take less than an hour to complete.

Basic program benefits can provide from $180 to $530 to individuals depending on their situations, usually paid directly to utility companies or fuel suppliers. Residents who receive food stamps or have annual household income levels below 60% of the state median income are eligible. For more information and to begin the application process, click here.
