Find a Fur Baby: Hello, Roo!

Submitted by Judith Levin

(October 4, 2024) — Look at this handsome boy! Roo has so much to offer. If only he had a family of his own.

Roo is a Pit Bull Terrier two to three years old, who has been neutered, is up-to-date with his shots, and is house-trained.

This guy was on the show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” and won on every count. He is extremely intelligent, friendly and loving. He loves to take walks, hike, play ball, car rides – and oh, yes, he loves all those squeaky toys! He is a very curious fellow who likes to check everything out. With all his great traits, he is perfectly happy lying on the couch with you watching a great movie. What else can you ask for?

Roo would do best if he had a home with no kitties or children (he can get a bit rambunctious and is strong. He just gets so excited). Roo does like other dogs, but does best as the King of his domain. You with me? If interested in him, you must own your own home.

Please open your heart and give this handsome guy a home to call his own. Please call Old Lyme Animal control at:  860-434-1605, extension: 244, or you can email them at Animalcontrol@oldlyme-ct.gov.

The team there will be more than happy to send out an application to you!
