(September 3, 2024) — The 2024 UConn Extension Master Composter Class is now accepting students for the 2024 UConn Master Composter class.
The 2024 program will be a hybrid program, with two in-person Saturday sessions, September 14, 2024 and September 28, 2024, along with two evening online sessions, September 19, 2024 and September 26, 2024, via WebEx. The two Saturday classes will be held at the Middlesex County Extension Center, 1066 Saybrook Road, in Haddam. The cost is $125.
Topics include Composting Basics, Compost Bins, Composting Chemistry, Compost Recipes and Calculators, Vermicomposting, Composting Troubleshooting, Community Composting, and Invasive Worms.
