(July 28, 2024) — On September 15, 2024, the United Congregational Church of Haddam and Higganum will be hosting the 14th Annual Ron Booth Mission Golf Outing at Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield.
There will be a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start (best ball), with lunch served “at the turn,” and a Lyman Orchards Apple Pie to take home. Dinner for golfers (and for those who want only dinner) will be held at 130 Dublin Hill Road, Higganum, starting about 3:00 p.m. Besides the dinner, there will be live music, raffle prizes, golf awards, open bar and more.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated in memory of Ron Booth to The First Tee of Connecticut. The First Tee was created to expose golf to underprivileged youth who might not normally have access to the game.
The cost is $145 for 18 holes, $100 for 9 holes, dinner only is $40 with kids menu (12 and under – free).
