Haddam Senior and Social Services Report, June 2024

(July 11, 2024) — The following is the Senior and Social Services report for June 2024. Please note: the Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent.

Senior and Social Services

Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of 94 individuals: 37 Seniors, 37 adults and 20 children. In addition to food, Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced two families with gift cards to local restaurants and/or grocery stores in town.

Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank did not service any families with fuel assistance during the month of June.

Haddam Social Services serviced four individuals with paperwork assistance.

Haddam Social Services/Clothing Bank serviced 235 individuals with clothing.

Haddam Social Services did one wellness check in June, 2024.

Senior Van

The Senior Van serviced 77 individuals in June, transporting 27 to medical appointments, 16 to/from the Senior Center, and 28 on the weekly shopping trip.

Haddam Senior Center

The Senior Center was open on thirteen days during the month of June, 2024.

The Center distributed 87 Futures Inc. meals in June and had 232 attendees at the Senior Center.

23 seniors attended the Commonwealth Program.

17 seniors attended the Pizza and a Movie.

20 seniors attended the Joe Zippoli Concert.

There were eight days when twenty or more seniors were in attendance at the Senior Center.
