(July 7, 2024) — The Haddam Senior Van now operates Monday through Thursday with longer hours. The first appointment can be at 9:15 a.m., with the last available appointment time at 2:30 p.m.
The extended hours, which began on July 1, 2024, should help those who have afternoon medical appointments. Please book the van right after you make the appointment. This will aid in scheduling for all. Seniors, please take a look at your calendars and call Neal at 860-682-3301 to make an appointment.
The van will still cover Haddam, Haddam Neck and Higganum. The Tuesday shopping trip to Walmart in Cromwell will continue. However, departure times may change. Medical visits are only in the Middlesex County area. You may also call to be picked up to go to the Senior Center for lunch, an activity or a program.
The town of Haddam funds the van and provides this service at no cost to riders. You must live in Haddam, be 60+, or be a disabled individual.
