Summer Arts Festival in Essex, June 15th and 16th

(June 1, 2024) — Enjoy a weekend of art and the outdoors at the Summer Arts Festival on the Essex Town Green, Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Presented by the Arts Center Killingworth and Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, the Festival is located at 12 Main Street, Essex.

Find original artwork by artists working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, and mixed media collage. Fine crafts can be found in pottery, wood, home and garden décor, candles, clothing & accessories, and botanical art as well as unique jewelry creations. Enjoy the attractions Essex offers including fine restaurants, New England architecture, and beautiful vistas.

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 Essex Festival is partially sponsored by Renewal by Andersen and Advanced Shower & Bath. The Arts Center Killingworth, the non-profit Festival Sponsor, presents several annual festivals as well as offers workshops and classes for established and beginning artists of all ages. Spectrum Gallery and Store, an expansion of the Arts Center, is a close visit from the Festival and is currently exhibiting Everything Grows (through July 13, 2024).

Spectrum showcases emerging and established artists and includes a store that offers fine crafts in media such as fabric, glass, ceramics, paper, pottery, jewelry, wood and more.  Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday (Noon to 6:00 p.m.) and Sunday (Noon to 5:00 p.m.). Gallery is located at 61 Main Street in Centerbrook.
