Killingworth P&Z Members Honored with State Federation Awards

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                (March 30, 2024) — Several members of the Killingworth Planning and Zoning Commission were honored for their service at a meeting of the Connecticut Federation of Planning and Zoning Agencies held at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Long-time Chairman of the Killingworth Planning and Zoning Commission Dr. Tom Lentz (above photo, center) received a lifetime achievement award recognizing his forty-four years on the Commission.  Current P & Z Chairman Paul McGuinness (above photo, right), Commissioner Geoff Cook (not pictured), and past member and Vice Chairman David Gross (above photo, left) were each recognized for twelve years of service to Killingworth and the Commission.
                                                                                                                                                                                                    The Federation of Planning and Zoning Agencies was established more than seventy years ago with a purpose of assisting municipal land use agencies in the performance of their roles as regulators of land use within each of their municipalities.
