Haddam Club 60 April Meeting Features Arts and Crafts Show

Submitted by Marge DeBold

(March 24, 2024) — Haddam Club 60 invites Haddam seniors and community members to its April entertainment meeting, an arts and crafts afternoon at the Haddam Senior Center.

The presentation takes place on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will feature twelve or more local crafters and artists – mostly club members – and their works of art.

We will experience a very special display of their efforts. We’ll enjoy viewing samples of wood carving, jewelry, oil and water color paintings, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, crewel work, baskets, porcelain dolls, a button collection, photography, and more.

Club members, and others who join us, will not only enjoy seeing the many samples of art work, but also talking with the artists, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. And, of course, there will be delicious refreshments to add to the pleasure of the afternoon.

As a special treat, for this special Haddam Cub 60 meeting, we are gathering at the Haddam Senior Center, across the street from Brainerd Memorial Library where there is space for extra parking.  We hope you will join us.
