Rossi Referendum – March 5th

(February 29, 2024) — The Electors of the Town of Haddam are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling places in said town on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for the following purposes:

Shall the Town sell approximately 3 acres, being portions of property at 270 & 300 Saybrook Road, for $250,000 to Higganum Village, LLC on the condition that Higganum Village, LLC invest $3,000,000 to improve such property for future use?

Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling places are as follows:
1. Haddam Firehouse Community Hall
 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum, CT, 06441
2. Regional School District #17
 Little City Road, Higganum, CT, 06441
3. Haddam Neck Firehouse
50 Rock Landing Road, Haddam Neck, CT, 06424
**Absentee Ballots will be counted at the following central location:

Haddam Firehouse Community Hall, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum, CT, 06441

Voting tabulators will be used. The polls will be opened at 6:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

Dated at Haddam, Connecticut, this 29th day of February, 2024.
