(February 28, 2024) — Brainerd Memorial Library has set the date for its Sixth Annual Agriculture Day.
The event will be held on June 1, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’re in our planning stages right now, but along with the main event for children and families, we anticipate featuring:
- An incubator to hatch baby chicks
- Farm Animals
- Presentations and displays
- Plants, books, and baked goods for sale
- Live Music
- The CT DEEP Nature Center Mobile Unit
- Free Crafts [like fairy gardens]
- Farm Equipment
- Food: Hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages, popcorn and ice cream
- A Raffle and more!
We need sponsors to help defray the costs and participants to help make this event a success.
You’re invited to sponsor the program or provide: crafts, displays or demos, plants, livestock, farm equipment, program supplies, a food truck, etc.
