(February 11, 2024) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation advises the following construction activities at the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge (Route 82) for the upcoming week of February 11, 2024:
63-Hour Bridge Closure
- No 63-hour bridge closure this week.
Overnight Bridge Closures
- Monday night (2/12) into Tuesday morning (2/13) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Tuesday night (2/13) into Wednesday morning (2/14) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Wednesday night (2/14) into Thursday morning (2/15) – 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Thursday night (2/15) into Friday morning (2/16) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Friday night (2/16) into Saturday morning (2/17) – 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Marine Advisory
- The swing span is no longer opening to accommodate marine traffic passage. Scheduled openings will resume on April 1, 2024.
