(February 6, 2024) — The Executive Board of the Middlesex Hospital Vocal Chords is accepting applications for its annual scholarships to be awarded to graduating seniors from Middlesex County who will be pursuing careers in nursing or music. They must have been accepted at an accredited college or university.
The Review Committee will consider academic records, extra-curricular and community service activities, the student’s ability to articulate his/her career goals, and the recommendations of references.
The $1500 scholarships will be paid directly to the recipients at the spring concert at Portland High School, on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Applications are available on the MHVC website, vocalchords20.org, or at school guidance offices.
Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2024.
