(February 2, 2024) — The Haddam Garden Club is offering a $500 scholarship to graduating seniors from Haddam-Killingworth High School, Vinal Tech, and Mercy or Xavier High Schools who will be pursuing an education in Agronomy, Botany, Conservation, Environmental Studies, Floriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, Plant Pathology or related fields.
Any students attending local high schools or who are home schooled are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by May 1, 2024 for consideration. A transcript of the student’s record is also required. Presentation of the award will be held at the Senior Awards Night to be held in May at the appropriate high school.
Applications will be available at the schools from the guidance department or you may contact Lynda Birch directly for an application or for any questions you may have.
