Continuing the Tradition: Supporting the Local Girl Scouts & Our Community Again in 2024

By Tanya Bottaro,

(January 23, 2024)—After the incredible success we have experienced in 2022 and 2023, I am thrilled to announce that we are continuing our special initiative to support our local Girl Scouts and give back to our community!

As we have done in past years, I am personally committed to buying 2 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from every Girl Scout in our wonderful towns of Haddam, Higganum & Killingworth!   In the spirit of giving back, each of these boxes will be donated directly to our local food pantry, helping those in our community who need it most.

Supporting the Girl Scouts is more than just enjoying delicious cookies, it’s about nurturing the growth of young leaders who will shape our future. As a former Brownie, I understand the tremendous value of this organization in building confidence, character, leadership, and community engagement in young girls.

So, let’s do it again! Let’s show these amazing young ladies our unwavering support and spread a little more joy and kindness in our community!  To all the fantastic Girl Scouts in Haddam, Higganum & Killingworth, I am excited to  support your efforts and cookie campaign.

To everyone in our community, let’s rally once more to make a positive impact for these young, future leaders. Together, we’re not just sharing cookies, were sharing love, support and community Spirit!

Cookies will go directly to either of these locations:

*Haddam Social Services,11 Jail Hill Road, Haddam, CT (Ph:860-345-4621)

*HK Backpack Program, 242 Route 8, Killingworth, CT
