(January 3, 2024) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team kicked off 2024 with a resounding victory, prevailing over Valley Regional by a score of 67 – 42. HK was led by junior Andrew Crayton with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 7-7 from the line.
Sophomores Declan Moriarty and Spencer Savoy continued to showcase their talent, each contributing 18 points. Junior Joe Slane was impressive once again grabbing 8 rebounds and contributing 7 points, while Luke Mauri had 2 big blocks, 2 steals and 2 assists. Next up for the Cougars, Cromwell at home on January 5, 2024. JV at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7:00 p.m. See you on the court.
