Donna C. Dupuis (D):
Tell us a little about yourself.
I have lived in Killingworth for 36 years with my husband Joe. We raised our daughter here and are proud first-time grandparents. I volunteer for the Killingworth Historical Society, AARP’s “Driver’s Safety” program, and Ivoryton Playhouse. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. I retired from AT&T after 36 years.
Why are you running for the position?
I have the experience and time. We continue to recover from the pandemic and face changes in town administration. I can provide consistent service and reporting to help smooth the transition.
What do you see as the important issues facing your town and how would you address them in your role?
I will recommend financial opportunities for the responsible investment of the town’s assets. I will encourage the administration to review protections from cyber threats and support efforts for improvements.
What are the key things you love about this town and its people?
The generosity and commitment to service.
Additional thoughts to leave voters with?
With your support, I will continue to ensure all deposits to town accounts are made securely, recorded accurately, and fully disclosed.
