2022 Haddam Senior Picnic to be Held June 20; Make Your Reservations!

Submitted by R. Thurston Clark.

(May 18, 2022)—We are having some June warm weather, already in May.  The forecast is for more of the same so it’s a great time for an outdoor picnic!  This short note is to remind you that the Haddam COA, Committee On Aging, is sponsoring a picnic just for seniors on June 20, 2022.

Haddam Neck Fair Pavilion

It is a great venue for seniors in our town to gather together and socialize in a country setting.  It will be under a pavilion, and includes some oldies but goodies by our one-man band, John Condi.  You also could use the opportunity to speak to one of the committee members about some of the services available to Haddam seniors.  If a committee member can’t help you, there will probably be someone on hand who can.  Need help now, contact Jessica Condil, Haddam’s Director of Senior & Social Services.  She’s also the town’s Municipal Agent for the Elderly.  However, the main focus of this event is for you to have an enjoyable time … dancing on the grass and Frisbee throwing will be permitted J
