Santa’s Mailbox – The Haddam Junior Women’s Club will be delivering children’s letters to Santa! For over 20 years we have set up two mailboxes in town so that the children of Haddam/Higganum can send their letters to Santa and receive a letter back! Mailboxes will be set up at the Nutmeg Pharmacy in Higganum Center and the Haddam Post Office. Please include a self-addressed and stamped envelope so that Santa is able to write a letter back to your child.

The Brainerd Memorial Library’s Children’s Holiday Party will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here at 11:30 a.m. to read stories, take photos, and spread holiday cheer! Make holiday crafts and enjoy a sing-a-long. Come one, come all and join in the festivities! Refreshments will be served. Brainerd Memorial Library is located at 920 Saybrook Road, Haddam.
Stop by the Killingworth Congregational Church Christmas Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a day of shopping, including beautiful wreaths, seasonal (and all-year) gifts, our very popular cookie sale and much more. Bid on the silent auction items, enjoy hot soups and grilled cheese and bring your kids for free children’s activities and a visit from Santa. Tree Lighting at Parmelee Farm will take place 3:00-4:30 p.m. Santa will be there as well. Parmelee Farm is located at 465 Route 81, Killingworth, CT.

Come have breakfast with Santa at the Killingworth Nursery School from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. Adult breakfast is $6, and children’s breakfast (under 10 years old) is $4. Have your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will also be crafts for sale, a raffle, and fun activities for kids. The Killingworth Nursery School is located at 273 Route 81, Killingworth.
The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company will hold its annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 14, 2019! All children 10 and under will receive a gift from Santa, a photo with Santa, cookies and hot chocolate. All residents in the Higganum/Haddam area are welcome! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Santa arrives by fire truck at 6:00 p.m. While the kids are meeting Santa, parents and families may purchase tickets for the HVFC Auxiliary’s basket raffle! The drawing will be at 8:00 p.m. Fire Station #1 is located at 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum.

Santa & Mrs. Claus are coming to the Holiday Pop-up Market, in the building formerly known as Haddam Elementary School. There will also be caroling by the Blue Fire Stage Company. Haddam Elementary School is located at 272 Saybrook Road/Route 154, Higganum.
