Lent: A 40 Day Preparation Retreat for the Renewal of Our Baptismal Vows
Retreat Director: Sr. Lany Jo Smith, ASCJ

This retreat will help you to reexamine your baptismal vows through the lens of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ commemorated in the Triduum. From the beginning of Christianity, Lent has always been a time to prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation, or to renew our vows of Baptism.

The Challenges of Change and Healing: Tuesday, March 21, 2023 and Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Retreat Director: Sr. Lany Jo Smith, ASCJ

This retreat is open to all men and women of faith who truly want to journey more closely with Christ so as to receive the wisdom and courage to handle the on-going challenges and changes in our lives and the faith and openness to receive Christ’s healing of heart, mind, soul and body that He wants us each to experience every day of our lives.

Unless otherwise noted, all retreats are located at Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center (194 Candlewood Hill Road in Higganum). For all retreats listed here, a donation is asked of $35, which includes a continental breakfast and a full lunch. Because we are limited in the number we can accommodate, we take retreatants on a first come, first serve basis.
