(April 5, 2019) — Congratulations to the 2019 HK Over 30 league basketball champions, Big Ballers!
As a #3 seed, this team knocked off #6 seed Travelin’ Dans in the quarterfinals and #2 seed Roberto Clementes in the semis before taking on pre-season favorite and regular season champion Fireball in the title game. In a back and forth slugfest throughout the contest, Big Ballers used their trademark defense and hit several key buckets in the closing minutes to take down their highly-favored opponents 120-115 to take the coveted hoop crown.  Congrats to the winners and all the players in the league. If YOU have game, join the fun next year as the Big Ballers look to defend their crown in 2020.
