(December 17, 2023) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation advises the following construction activities at the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge for the upcoming week of December 17, 2023. There will be complete overnight closures as follows:
- Sunday night (12/17) into Monday morning (12/18) – 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Monday night (12/18) into Tuesday morning (12/19) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Tuesday night (12/19) into Wednesday morning (12/20) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Wednesday night (12/20) into Thursday morning (12/21) – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Thursday night (12/21) into Friday morning (12/22) – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Marine Advisory
- The swing span is no longer opening to accommodate marine traffic passage, scheduled openings will resume on April 1, 2024.
