On Monday, May 23, 2022, the Haddam Killingworth High School Softball team defeated East Hampton 13-2 in the Shoreline Conference quarterfinal game.
Brooke Hickman got a save for relieving starter Kaleigh Bodak in the 4th and pitched 2 1/3 innings of no-hit, no-run ball. In the 5th inning, Brooke launched a 3-run home run to help solidify the HK win. Eight HK batters had at least 1 hit and 1 RBI. Olivia DeMartino had 2 hits for EH and scored 2 runs. HK is now 19-2 and while East Hampton falls to 8-12.
