On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Softball team defeated Cromwell 7-0.
Bella Richwine and Kaleigh Bodak combined to shut out Cromwell 7-0. HK’s Ivy McNiel had 3 hits and 2 RBI, while Cheyenne LaTouche had 2 hits including a home run and two runs scored. Bella Richwine contributed a two-run single in HK’s 5-run third inning. Jaime Anderson had two hits for Cromwell, whose record falls to 9-2, while HK’s record is now 11-1.
